This project is open to anyone with Kashmiri heritage living outside the Kashmir valley. You might be first-generation, second-generation, or beyond. You might speak Kashmiri fluently, partially, or not at all.

Participation is voluntary, and you can choose to use your full name, initials, or remain anonymous.

If you express interest, we'll send you a set of four open-ended prompts covering your diasporic journey, language and literary memory, family transmission, and personal reflection.

You can respond in writing or arrange a conversation that we'll transcribe (with your approval). There's no word limit. You can be as brief or expansive as feels right.
